I’ve found my inner geek. Over the course of our trip, I’m going to try an experiment: to collect data on our trip – some of it useful, most of it not. Here’s what is hopefully in store, feel free to email us with suggestions:
- Gallons of gas burnt
- Amount spent on gas
- Mileage
- Number of bugs killed by our windshield
- Number of accidents
- Number of speeding tickets
- Number of police cars spotted, by state
- Number of pounds gained / lost (most likely will happen at the end of the trip)
Any other suggestions?

Big time shout out to our friends Mandy & Kate who are going to tag team on taking care of Inja! Mandy is going to adopt Inja until the 11th of June and Kate is going to take over from there. You have no idea how grateful we are! You guys are awesome!
Also, another shout out to our dear friend Jack, who is taking care of our cats, Itchy & Scratchy (yes, they are actually named that). In addition, he’s going to keep our houseplants company.
